About me

My short Bio

I earned my Master’s Degree in Traffic Engineering at the University of Palermo in 2011 and completed my PhD in “Technology and Economics of Transport” in 2015. I have extensive experience in planning and programming traffic light systems as well as developing microsimulation models across Germany, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.

Since March 2018, I've been working with citiEU | citiME as a Transport Data Analyst. In this role, I'm responsible for developing traffic models, providing support, and conducting training sessions for the OpenPaths CUBE software and the TomTom portal in various countries. Since June 2021, I've taken on the position of head of sales for IntuVision VA® and TomTom® within the company.

Since January 2020, I've served as an "expert on the subject" at the University of Palermo, teaching courses in "Technology and Economics of Transport" and "Theory and Technique of Traffic." I deliver lectures on Transport Big Data and Transport Data Analysis to undergraduate Civil Engineering students and on Transport Models to graduate Civil Engineering students. Additionally, I've acted as a mentor for master thesis projects focusing on transport planning, modelling, and data analysis.
